Spacegirl Designs creative workshops offer a range of services, including ‘One on One’ mentoring, in person or online, group workshops and art parties.
Our topics for workshops include, wet felting a bowl or nuno felt a mini scarf/cloth, acrylic painting, watercolours, drawing and focussed mentoring for smaller groups.
Spacegirl Designs workshops are a travelling workshop that comes to the customer, or online for those who are far away.
Travelling workshop: The customers hosts an art party/event in chosen space in doors. Lara will provide all creative tools and equipment to make the chosen art project. The host must provide tables and chairs, running water, and towels if felting.
Note: Lara sells felting kits to get started for online workshops! Please contact her for more information.
Focused group

$70-145pp
Focused group workshops are for those who want to learn a new creative skill with a small group of friends, family or business colleagues.
For $70pp you can expect one on one mentoring and step by step guidance while creating art from selected workshop topics. The mentor will give indepth knowledge of techniques, including colour theory, application of mediums and focal point/design theory, classes typically go for 3 hours.

Prices vary depending on the topic, all materials cost different amounts. For example watercolours are cheapest and felting a hat is the most expensive
Large Groups
3hr-5hr 5-20 Guest
$70- 145 pp
Art parties are for larger group events,such as Hens/Bucks partys, birthdays, engagements and work Christmas events, team building and tailored special events. Groups can choose between acrylic painting, drawing/watercolours and felting.
For $60 pp you can expect to be mentored through a painting, drawing/watercolour or felt making course over 3 hours. Your mentor Lara will explain colour choices and mixing, applications of mediums, tools needed for creating and demonstrate a design in front of the group helping lead the class step by step to acheive desired creation.

One on One Mentoring
1.5-5hr
$60pp and hour
One on One mentor sessions go for 2hrs. Workshops can be on any topic, for example, felting, Nuno felting, painting with oils and acrylic, watercolour techniques, canvas stretching, life and general drawing, digital illustration and design procreate.
You can book a regular weekly session to follow self based projects and Lara will mentor you through the project.
Projects will be set at 6 week sessions.
